Approximately 140 Albion kindergarteners brought their teddy bears, dolls and stuffed animals to get health checkups and imaginary mending by Medina Memorial Hospital staff at Teddy Bear and Doll Clinics held on November 17th and 19th.
This fun event for all – students and staff alike – gave the students a positive experience about visiting the hospital while showing them services they might receive should they actually need hospital care.
The students went through the Registration Department, visited a Nursing Station, the Laboratory and Radiology Departments, and had a conversation about good snacks and bad snacks with Nutritional Services staff. They also received a visit from an adorable therapy dog named Lily, which was great hit with the children.
