  • By nature, walk-in clinic wait times may vary depending on the number of patients at the center and the type of injuries or illnesses.  You may call 585-589-2273 before you come to inquire about the wait time.
  • As with walk-in care centers and medical offices, we request payment at the time of your service.  We accept insurance but plans vary by location and type of service needed.  Please contact your insurance carrier to learn if we accept your particular plan and whether the services you need are covered under your plan.  If you have questions about insurance or payment, please ask at our reception desk when you arrive. We are always happy to help.

Emergency Room Or Walk-In Clinic?

When should I go to the Emergency Room or call 911?

In general, an emergency is any medical condition considered that may threaten life or limb, or cause permanent impairment. Examples of conditions that should be treated in an Emergency Room include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Unconsciousness
  • Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding
  • Poisoning
  • Moderate to severe burns
  • Convulsions or seizures
  • Serious head, neck or back injury
  • Loss of limb
  • Fever in a newborn (less than 3 months old)
  • Severe abdominal pain

When should I go to a Walk-in clinic?

Walk-in clinic medical conditions are ones that are not considered to be life-threatening emergencies but still require care within 24 hours. Examples of conditions that can be treated in a Walk-in clinic may include:

  • Minor injuries
  • Bleeding/cuts requiring stitches
  • Eye redness or irritation
  • Broken bones
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Upper respiratory tract infections
  • Fever or flu
  • Sore throat
  • Skin rashes
  • Skin infections
  • Sprains and strains
  • Mild to moderate asthma
