What is Price Transparency?
Price Transparency is the approach used by Orleans Community Health to help patients understand the complexities of health care pricing and empower patients to make informed decisions regarding their health care.
Hospitals are required by law to make available information about their standard charges for the items and services they provide. We support price transparency.
For our patients to understand their potential financial liability for hospital services, we are making our hospital charges available to patients.
The price can differ from patient to patient for the same service if a complication or different treatment is needed.
