About Elizabeth (Liz):
Elizabeth Gurnsey earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York, and received her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Rochester. She is Board Certified in Family Health through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Prior to coming to Orleans Community Health, Liz worked as an RN at Strong Memorial Hospital for 8 years on a busy Thoracic, Plastic, and Colorectal surgery unit.
Liz’s goal with becoming a Nurse Practitioner was based on having the opportunity to serve her community as a healthcare provider and here at Orleans Community Health, she is able to do exactly that.
Liz practices using a holistic, evidence-based approach to provide individualized care to each of her patients.
Liz moved to Albion at the age of 10, graduated from Albion High School, and still lives locally with her family. She is married and outside of work enjoys camping, hiking, baking, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
