You will receive primary care services like health maintenance, disease diagnosis and prevention, as well as overall health screenings. The current team of Dr. Syed Raza, MD, Blessing Ibezim, MS, FNP – C, Elizabeth Gurnsey, FNP, and Cheryl Kast, PA – C, are available to provide you with the care you deserve.
There are many reasons why primary care services should be taken seriously. They can help with preventive services, diagnosing potential diseases, when ongoing care is needed, annual check-ups and physicals, routine health screenings, caring for chronic health conditions, and offering referrals to specialists. Dr. Syed Raza, MD
Dr. Syed Raza, MD is an Internal Medicine Specialist with over 33 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from Dow Medical College, Dow University of Health Sciences Medical School in 1988.
Dr. Syed Raza, MD is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
You can see Dr. Raza at both the Albion Healthcare Center and his Medina office (1038 Gwinn Street).

Blessing Ibezim, MS, FNP - C
Blessing Ibezim, MS, FNP – C earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York, and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from SUNY, Brockport. She is Board Certified in Family Health through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Blessing also has a BSc (Tech) in Industrial Microbiology.
Blessing has been employed at Orleans Community Health for over 5 years. Prior to coming to Orleans Community Health, She worked in Hospital Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She also worked as a registered nurse at Rochester Regional Health in the Interventional Cardiology unit for over ten years.
Blessing’s background in Family Health has been a perfect addition to Orleans Community Health as she is compassionate about providing high-quality and holistic care to all ages.
Blessing strongly believes in diversity, inclusion, and advocating for her patients and that everyone deserves health care screening, prevention, and promotion irrespective of age, income, race, or background
Blessing is originally from Nigeria, is married, and has two children. Outside the office, she loves vacationing with her family, cooking, listening to good music, and dancing.

Elizabeth Gurnsey, FNP
Elizabeth Gurnsey, FNP earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York, and received her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Rochester. She is Board Certified in Family Health through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Prior to coming to Orleans Community Health, Liz worked as an RN at Strong Memorial Hospital for 8 years on a busy Thoracic, Plastic, and Colorectal surgery unit.
Liz’s goal with becoming a Nurse Practitioner was based on having the opportunity to serve her community as a healthcare provider and here at Orleans Community Health, she is able to do exactly that.
Liz practices using a holistic, evidence-based approach to provide individualized care to each of her patients.
Liz moved to Albion at the age of 10, graduated from Albion High School, and still lives locally with her family. She is married and outside of work enjoys camping, hiking, baking, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
