The general surgery clinic at Orleans Community Health is located on the 1st floor of Medina Memorial Hospital, in the Medina Healthcare Center. Ambulatory services is located on the 3rd floor. The surgical services team is committed to providing the highest-quality care to our patients.

Our team of doctors, nurses, anesthesia personnel and others provides comprehensive surgical services with compassion for our patients and their families in a comfortable community hospital atmosphere.

Dr. Joseph Misiti of Medina Memorial Hospital Orleans Community Health
Joseph Misiti, MD, a home-grown Medina native currently serving his community as a General Surgeon at Orleans Community Health. He received his Doctorate at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, NY and completed his residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Misiti is currently serving as the Medical Director at Orleans Community Health.
Dr. Robert Hodge is part of the surgical team at Medina Memorial Hospital in Medina, NY. He has extensive history of serving Niagara County and Lockport, NY.
Robert Hodge, MD received his medical degree at the University of Louisville and completed his surgical residency at the University of Buffalo. He specializes in general and laparoscopic surgery. Additionally, he is certified in robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Jeffrey Schratz is a surgeon at Medina Memorial Hospital with extensive experience. He is well known in Niagara County and Lockport, NY.
A native of Amherst, he attended Canisius High School, and then received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Williams College, before attending the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Buffalo. Schratz specializes in general and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Devon Huff, MD, is a surgeon at Medina Memorial Hospital, part of Orleans Community Health.
Devon Huff, MD, received his Doctorate at the University at Buffalo. He then chose to remain at UB for his residency training and has remained in the greater Buffalo area throughout his career. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery and in advanced wound care.
