When making an appointment for the, you do not need to specify which screenings/tests you intend to get, only your time slot. When making an appointment for imaging, you will schedule appointments with each screening/test you intend to receive.
*You do not need to fast for any of the appointments.*

AAA (Abdominal Aorta) – This test screens for the existence of an aneurysm enlargement that could lead to a ruptured aortic artery.
ABI – This non-invasive procedure tests upper arms and ankles to determine the blood pressure of different limbs. This helps to determine if you might be at risk of developing PAD, which is the thinning of arteries which results in reduced blood flow to your head, arms, legs, and stomach.
Carotid – 80% of stroke and cardiovascular disease can be preventable (according to the American Heart Association). This test will help to identify if you have buildup of fatty plaque, one of the leading causes of strokes.
Hemoglobin A1c is a test that measures blood glucose levels over an average of 120 days and is helpful in diagnosing pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. This differs from a fasting blood glucose level because the regular fasting test is a measure at that moment in time only. If a patient has been inconsistent in watching their diet, a fasting glucose result will not show that and only reflect over a time period of 8-10 hours.
TSH or Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is a test to reflect the activity of a thyroid gland and helps screen for problems such as hypothyroidism (too little hormone levels) like Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or hyperthyroidism (too high of thyroid hormone) as in Grave’s disease. Abnormal levels can cause fatigue, weight loss/gain, temperature sensitivities, depression and other symptoms.
PSA is a blood test used primarily to screen for prostate cancer in men and helps look for signs of cancer before symptoms occur. Non-cancerous conditions can also cause PSA levels to increase such as an inflammation or an enlargement of the prostate.

How much do the tests cost? Each test you register for will cost $10 (check or cash payment at check-in)
