Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 12, 2024! We’re hosting a resource fair/open house and hope you can make it. This event is largely free to everyone in the community. The only cost comes in the form of testing that can be administered by the Imaging and Laboratory Departments. Signing up for those is easy and an effective way of showing signs of possible larger issues.
The event includes several free activities:
Tours of Medina Memorial Hospital (4PM, 5PM, 6PM) (Email srobinson@medinamemorial.org to confirm a spot in the tour.)
Stop-the-Bleed Training (4:30PM – 5:30PM)
Bumps & Lumps Clinic (OCH Surgery Clinic)

Several testing opportunities for $10 (per test) with our:

Imaging/Radiology team (US Aorta Screening-looking for aneurysms of the main vessel, US Carotid Screening-looking for occlusions which can lead to stroke, ABI (arterial) Screening- looks for peripheral vascular disease), and a newly added Echo exam to check heart strength.
Laboratory team (Hemoglobin A1c, PSA -prostate specific antigen, TSH – thyroid stimulating hormone).
