Friday, June 20th couldn’t have been a better day for the 28th Annual Orleans Community Health Foundation Golf Tournament. The sun was shining and the skies were clear. It was a perfect day for golf! Thank you to everyone who supported our effort to raise funds for a new ultrasound unit in the Radiology and Mammography department. We would especially like to thank our Tournament Sponsor – Lippes, Mathias, Wexler, Friedman LLP for their generosity and participation on tournament day.
We raised nearly $20,000!
Champions in the Men’s Division with a score of 61 were Bill Downey, Joe McVige and Dewight Case. The final score reflected a close tie with the Men of the Birch team. The champions of the Mixed Division managed to pull off a win, even though they had a late start and an injured player. Congratulations to Bill and Jackie Bixler, Don Osborn and Bill Hartnett! Other tournament winners were Jim Ward for Longest Drive for Men, Women’s winner Cheryl Czajkowski and Art Wingerter won the closest to the pin by dropping the ball only 8’ 7” from the hole.
