More than seventy kids had a visit with Santa at Medina Memorial Hospital’s first Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 5. Mrs. Claus was also with him, adding to the festive atmosphere by visiting with the children.
Along with a visit to Santa’s knee, children and their parents enjoyed a delightful Christmas themed breakfast in the hospital cafeteria. Children also visited a cookie decorating station and a craft station, where they made picture frames.
The children received a bag of treats, which included a coloring book and information on preventing lead poisoning, a candy cane and a sleigh bell.
“It was a fun event for the kids and all of the hospital staff who participated,” said Cindy Perry, director of Outreach and Marketing at Community Partners. “We’re pleased that it was a great success.”
