Recent acquisition of digital radiology equipment is part of a wave of improvements at Medina Memorial Hospital. Digital radiography eliminates the need for x-ray film. This means faster exam times and a better patient experience. It can also man a lower dose for patients. An analogy is the replacement of typical film cameras with   digital cameras. Images can be immediately acquired, deleted, modified, and subsequently sent to a network of computers.
