Admissions Processor – Per Diem

Keyboard experience (40-60 wpm). High school diploma; supplemented with one (1) year of related medical office experience. Successful completion of an accredited medical office training program may be substituted for the required one (1) year medical office experience.

Ambulatory Patient Representative

Assoc. degree or equivalent from two-yr college or six months to one yr related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must meet hospital health requirements, professional in attitude, conduct and appearance.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Full Time

The Occupational Therapy Assistant is a skilled, technical worker who administers Occupational Therapy treatments to patients, working under direction of and as an assistant to an Occupational Therapist. Assists Therapist in obtaining subjective and objective patient data for evaluation and re-evaluation purposes. Administers treatment plan (group or individual) utilizing manual skills, therapeutic activities/exercises, ADL training, cognitive/perceptual training and splinting as planned an prescribed by the Occupational Therapist. Completes documentation and routine paperwork on appropriate forms within prescribed time frames.  Successful completion of a 2 year AOTA approved college program for COTA which leads to an ASS degree.  The COTA must be eligible for state licensure or registration in New York State and in accordance with the Commissioner’s regulations.  Successful completion of a 2 year AOTA approved college program for COTA which leads to an ASS degree.

Clinical Technician 1 – Albion Health Care – Per Diem

Certified Ambulatory Care Technician or equivalent ambulatory care experience  High school graduate or GED diploma.  Any other requirements of NYS Department of Health.  CPR/BLS maintained annually.

CNA – Residential Health Care Facility –  Part Time and Per Diem

NYS CNA certification and in good standing. CPR/or certification within 6 months. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Good grooming and professional conduct. Ability to cooperate with others and to accurately follow directions and document care given.

CNA – PCU 2 –  Full Time – Per Diem

Shall be listed in the NYS RHCF Nurse Aide Registry (Chapter 717 of the Laws of 1989 Amends Public Health Law #2803-J)  High school graduate or GED diploma.  Any other requirements of the NYS Department of Health.  CPR certification, or will obtain within six(6) months of employment

CNA – CMR – Part Time

NYS CNA certification and in good standing. CPR/or certification within 6 months. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Good grooming and professional conduct. Cook – Relief – Per Diem

High School graduate (GED acceptable), Vocational training or equivalent will be considered. One to two (1-2) years  with large volume cooking. Must be ServSafe Certified within 6 months of employment or with first offered class. Also must maintain Certification every 5 years. Knowledge of terms, large quantity methods. Ability to read, speak and write clearly; does simple mathematics. Achieves standards to meet requirements for department accreditation. Achieves standards of performance to assure patient meal satisfaction and diet order adherence

Dialysis Technician – Medina Renal Dialysis– Per Diem

High school diploma or equivalent. One year of dialysis technical experience is desirable. CNA experience preferred. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation. Current CPR card. Must be reliable. NYS certification or within 18 months of employment. Dialysis technicians must complete 30 hours of CEUs for each 3 year certification period to remain certified.

High school diploma or equivalent. One year of dialysis technical experience is desirable. CNA experience preferred. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation. Current CPR card. Dietetic Tech – Clinical Dietetics – Per Diem

One year of experience in both acute care and long term care; clinical dietetics eligible with The American Dietetic Association.

Medical Technologist – Per Diem

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology.  Completion of 3 years of study in an accredited college plus one year of internship in a medical technology program.  Bachelor’s degree in one of the biological or chemical/physical sciences plus year of pertinent clinical laboratory experience.A person performing the duties of a Medical Technologist since 1961 with either 30 semester hours credit toward a Bachelor’s degree with a science major or 30 credit hours in a school of Medical Technology. New York State Medical Technologist license from the Department of Education

NP/PA – Albion Health Center – 2 Full Time Positions/1 Part-Time

Qualifications/Experience: Certified FNP or Physician Assistant. Experience in urgent care and Occupational health.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Per Diem

Successful completion of didactic and clinical training in nuclear medicine technology.  Direct patient contact hours will be obtained by training in an approved clinical setting. Board Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related area is desirable.

One or two years of clinical experience functioning as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist under the direction of an appropriate physician are preferred.  New graduates with appropriate didactic and clinical training may be considered.

Occupational Therapist – Full Time – Part Time

Graduate of an accredited school approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association with a BS or MS degree in Occupational Therapy.  Registered and licensed by the State of New York in Occupational Therapy with a valid permit to practice Occupational Therapy in NY.  Evaluates and re-evaluates patient’s musculoskeletal, neuro, cognitive/perceptual, and functional levels based on patient’s presenting condition and diagnosis.  Plans a written treatment program and treatment goals based on patient evaluation/re-evaluation.

Patient Accounts Representative – Full Time

3-5 years of experience in hospital billing. Must have good communication skills and interact in a professional manner with patients, insurance companies and physician offices. Proficient in typing/keyboarding skills.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full Time – Per Diem

Successful completion of a 2 year APTA approved, college program for PTA which leads to an AAS degree. The PTA must be eligible for State licensure or registration in New York State and in accordance with the Commissioners’ regulations.

Respiratory Therapist – Per Diem

NYS licensure in Respiratory Therapy.  One year clinical experience. One year experience preferred.

RN – Case Management

Minimum 3 years clinical experience as Registered Nurse (RN). Valid certification of licensure by the State of New York. Previous experience with counseling and discharge planning of rehabilitation patients/families preferred. Demonstrated experience in utilization management, facility concurrent review, appeals process. Must have excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and interpersonal skills

RN – CMR – Full Time – Per Diem

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Professional in attitude, conduct and appearance. New York State licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN pharmacology examination. Relates effectively with patients, their families, visitors, and other health care team members.

RN – Emergency Department – Full Time

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/NYS RN licensure current. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examination. BLS and ACLS required and current. One (1) years’ experience in medical/surgical nursing. Certification in NRP, ENPC or PALS and TNCC-P or ATCN recommended within one year of hire. Certified Stroke Nurse as evidenced by 8 CEUs within 10 days of hire and 4 CEUs monthly.

RN – Residential Health Care Facility (RHCF) – Per Diem

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.  New York State licensure with current registration/permit.  Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examination.

RN – PCU 2 – Part Time – Per Diem

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. New York State licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology examination. Complete Cardiac Arrhythmia Course within  6 months of hire

RN Supervisor – Part Time 

New York State RN licensure with current registration. Three (3) years of progressive nursing experience, and at least one (1) year with charge responsibilities. PALS/ACLS within 6 months of hire. Knowledge of new trends and techniques in nursing. Mid-management or other certification preferred/specialty. Maintains CPR certification.             RN Supervisor will facilitate delivery of care and provides guidance to nursing units. Supervises all hospital activities after Administrator goes off duty, in accordance with her/his delegation of authority and instructions. and responsibilities.

RN Batavia Renal – Full Time

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State licensure with current registration. Previous hemodialysis experience or at least one year acute/Med Surg care experience.  Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examinations.

RN; Wound, Ostomy, Continence – Per Diem

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required.  Graduate of a WOCN-accredited education program, current board certification as CWOCN by the WOCNCB preferred.  NYS licensure with current registration.  Minimum 2 to 4 years of RN experience preferred .

Radiologic Technologist

High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of radiologic technology. New York State licensure (or eligible) with current registration/permit. IV Certification or eligible. Ability to perform all procedures in assigned areas. Ability to maintain proper records according to established procedures. Professional in attitude, conduct, and appearance.

Surgical Technologist

High school graduate. Advanced education in surgical technology preferred or another avenue of entry acceptable to Medina Memorial Hospital. Certification preferred. He/She is clinically competent to deliver safe and effective care to the patient during the intra operative phase according to standards of practice and policies of the hospital and the department.

Ultrasound Technologist – Per Diem

Per Diem -Associate’s degree in a health science area or equivalent combination of experience. Board certification; American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or equivalent Bachelor’s and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is preferred. Degree in Ultrasound Technology or a related area is desirable.

Vice President of Risk Management/Quality

The VP of Risk/Quality is responsible for the facility’s risk management activities, which include administering the risk management program, managing and analyzing risk management date, providing education in risk management, complying with JCAHO, DOH, and MILMC requirements to provide better patient care, as safe environment, fewer professional and general liability claims and reduce costs. The Patient Safety Officer will have primary oversight of the facility wide patient safety program, which includes leadership for safety assessments, coordinate activities for Patient Safety Committee , educates staff with a focus on directing the facility towards process improvements that will support the reduction of medical / health care errors and other factors that contributes to unintended adverse patient outcomes.  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and job related experience.
