Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State licensure with current registration. One year experience in acute care nursing, preferred. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examinations. Medical Technologist – Full time – Per Diem
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology. Completion of 3 years of study in an accredited college plus one year of internship in a medical technology program. Bachelor’s degree in one of the biological or chemical/physical sciences plus year of pertinent clinical laboratory experience.A person performing the duties of a Medical Technologist since 1961 with either 30 semester hours credit toward a Bachelor’s degree with a science major or 30 credit hours in a school of Medical Technology. New York State Medical Technologist license from the Department of Education
RN Batavia Renal – Full Time
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State licensure with current registration. Previous hemodialysis experience or at least one year acute/Med Surg care experience. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examinations.
RN – Orleans County Jail – Full Time
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examination. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. RN Supervisor – Per Diem
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN preferred. New York State licensure with current registration. Three (3) years of progressive nursing experience, and at least one (1) year with charge responsibilities. Knowledge of new trends and techniques in nursing. Mid-management or other certification preferred/specialty. Maintains CPR certification. Obtains and maintains ACLS certification, and NRP or PALS certification within six (6) months of placement in this position. Able to show proficiency in telemetry monitoring
RN – Emergency Department – Full & Part Time
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. NYS licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examination. BLS and ACLS required and current. One (1) years’ experience in medical/surgical nursing. Certification in ENPC or PALS required within one year of hire. Certification in TNCC-P, ITLS, ATCN or equivalent recommended within one year of hire. Certified Stroke Nurse as evidenced by 8 CMEs within 10 days of hire including the NIHSS Certification (valid for 24 months) and 4 CMEs yearly thereafter.
Respiratory Therapist – Per Diem
Must be a credentialed RRT or CRTT. Completed AAS in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Must have NBRC credential. Must be licensed by NYS as a Respiratory Therapist. BLS required ACLS and or PALS recommended.
Security Guard – Part time – 10p-6a
High School diploma or equivalent. Will provide hospital security services during the evening and nighttime hours. To maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. To be knowledgeable and effective in the management of aggressive patients, visitors and employees. To assist with other assigned duties as needed on an as needed basis. Licensed NYS security guard or obtain a Security Guard license within 10 mos. from date of hire.
