Admissions Processor – Part Time

Keyboard experience (40-60 wpm). High school diploma; supplemented with one (1) year of related medical office experience. Successful completion of an accredited medical office training program may be substituted for the required one (1) year medical office experience. Must have positive attitude and be a team player.

Ambulatory Patient Representative, APR

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. General mathematical skills. Advanced secretarial skills. Experience with Microsoft Suite. EMR knowledge. Lifts, pushes and pulls equipment and supplies. Stands, walks bends throughout the shift. Ability to hear with accommodation and have functional sight.

Courier

Courier or delivery experience preferred. Must maintain a valid NYS driver’s license along with proof of auto insurance if driving his or her private vehicle. Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean. Completes annual educational requirements. Maintains regulatory requirements, including all state, federal, and JCAHO regulations. Maintains and ensures patient confidentiality at all times. Reports to work on time as scheduled.

CNA – Part time & Per Diem – Med Surg Unit

NYS CNA certification and in good standing. CPR/or certification within 6 months. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Good grooming and professional conduct. Ability to cooperate with others and to accurately follow directions and document care given. Certified Ambulatory Care Technician or equivalent ambulatory care experience High school graduate or GED diploma. Any other requirements of NYS Department of Health. CPR/BLS maintained annually.

LPN – Full Time PCU 2

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State Licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on Pharmacology examination. BLS certification. Telemetry certification within 6 months. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Professional in attitude, conduct, and appearance.            Relates effectively with patients, their families, visitors and other members of the health care team. Ability to accurately follow directions, document care given effectively and to direct others. Responsible, credible, compassionate, and displays good judgment.

LPN – Per Diem – Residential Health Care Facility (RHCF)

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State Licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology examination.

Mechanic – Full Time

High school or trade school diploma. 3 years’ experience in building trades. Current NYS Security Guard License. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Medical Technologist – Full time – Per Diem

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology.  Completion of 3 years of study in an accredited college plus one year of internship in a medical technology program.  Bachelor’s degree in one of the biological or chemical/physical sciences plus year of pertinent clinical laboratory experience.A person performing the duties of a Medical Technologist since 1961 with either 30 semester hours credit toward a Bachelor’s degree with a science major or 30 credit hours in a school of Medical Technology. New York State Medical Technologist license from the Department of Education

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Successful completion of didactic and clinical training in nuclear medicine technology.  Direct patient contact hours will be obtained by training in an approved clinical setting. Board Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related area is desirable. New York State licensed radiologic technologist with a current registration. Current BLS. Will call patients to schedule them when orders are faxed to the department. Responsible for appropriate insurance authorizations and medical necessity for various exam.  One or two years of clinical experience functioning as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist under the direction of an appropriate physician are preferred.  New graduates with appropriate didactic and clinical training may be considered.

Patient Accounting Representative – Full Time        

Process and manage patient’s accounts for reimbursement. Candidates that have 3-5 years of experience in hospital billing. Must have good communication skills and interact in a professional manner with patients, insurance companies and physician offices. Proficient in typing/keyboarding skills. Ability to meet hospital health requirements. Professional in attitude, conduct and appearance.  Relates effectively with respective departments. Responsible, accurate and displays good judgement

Phlebotomist Process

High school diploma. Reasonable typing skills. Medical terminology a plus. Phlebotomy certification preferred. NYS Driver’s license. Professional in attitude, conduct, and appearance. Relates effectively with patients, their families, visitors and other members of the health care team. Responsible, credible, compassionate and displays good judgment.

Radiologic Technologist – Per Diem

High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of radiologic technology. New York State licensure (or eligible) with current registration/permit. IV Certification or eligible. Ability to perform all procedures in assigned areas. Ability to maintain proper records according to established procedures. Professional in attitude, conduct, and appearance.

RN – Emergency Department – Full time

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. NYS licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examination. BLS and ACLS required and current. One (1) years’ experience in medical/surgical nursing. Certification in ENPC or PALS required within one year of hire. Certification in TNCC-P, ITLS, ATCN or equivalent recommended within one year of hire. Certified Stroke Nurse as evidenced by 8 CMEs within 10 days of hire including the NIHSS Certification (valid for 24 months) and 4 CMEs yearly thereafter.

RN – PCU 2 – Full time & Per Diem – New Graduates Welcome –

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. New York State licensure with current registration/permit. Passing score on NLN Pharmacology examination. RN Batavia Renal – Full Time

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. New York State licensure with current registration. Previous hemodialysis experience or at least one year acute/Med Surg care experience.  Passing score on NLN Pharmacology Examinations.

RN Supervisor – Full Time, Part Time & Per Diem

Nursing Administration – RN Supervisor will facilitate delivery of care a appropriate and provides guidance to nursing units. Supervises all hospital activities after Administrator goes off duty, in accordance with her/his delegation of authority and instructions. and responsibilities. Respiratory Therapist – Per Diem

Must be a credentialed RRT or CRTT. Completed AAS in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Must have NBRC credential. Must be licensed by NYS as a Respiratory Therapist. BLS required ACLS and or PALS recommended.
